Bio

Hola!  I am Ms. Diann Thomas.  Currently I am teaching Spanish II at PHS.  Having been in education for 30 years, I have had the privilege of teaching around the United States and working with teachers and students from around the world.  Throughout the course of my teaching career, I have worked with students from kindergarten to seniors, urban and rural.  I have a BS in Spanish and Language Arts and a Master's in Secondary Administration.  I have worked at the national level as a staff developer for the AVID program helping schools raise the rigor for all students.

At PHS I am the sponsor of Peer Helpers, a program which focuses on having a positive impact on PHS students.  We offer tutoring, mentoring, welcoming meetings and activities throughout the school year.

Also, I am the sponsor of the National Spanish Honor Society, which is dedicated to keeping Spanish active for our members and doing community service for personal growth.
